Eric Lee

I am a contemporary digital artist born and raised in Northbrook, IL. I am an award-winning artist known for whimsical, complex digital collages that resemble paintings and embody contemporary abstract and surreal designs in vibrant colors, incorporating my own digital illustrations, photos, and custom 3D-rendered figures. Although I was born with a hearing and speech impairment and a mild motor skill disability, I have always aspired to pursue excellence and found my place in the world through art. As a youngster in an art class, I began my lifelong passion for vivid and abstract imagery with a paintbrush, where the instructor encouraged me to learn Picasso’s artistic skills.

As a fervent animal lover, I often incorporate endangered animals, horses, popular dog breeds, and cats into my artwork. The unique integration of beloved endangered animals in contemporary and abstract settings has inspired art connoisseurs. As a Chicagoland native, I photograph famous Chicago landmarks, animals at Lincoln Park Zoo/ Brookfield Zoo, sports/vintage cars at local car shows, and attend the annual Chicago Auto Show.

I received a B.A. in Graphic Design from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, and a Graphic Design Certificate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, IL.
