Artist’s work, booth design and application information will be juried based on quality, authenticity, uniqueness, salability, booth presentation and overall balance of show categories.

If the deadline has passed, the website will post the most updated information about available space. In the past couple of years, the show has filled up by the jury deadline and a healthy wait-list is created during the selection process. However, if we have availability in certain categories it will be posted on the website. Also, feel free to email khogan@themart.com if you are unsure and/or want to be put on our email list for deadline reminders.
It is recommended that you set one up in a clean, open space and photograph it. If this is not possible, you may submit a computerized layout of your display or a sketch of your display. Keep in mind that presentation is an important factor in the jury selection.
It is recommended that you apply in the category that makes up the greatest amount of your work. If your work is balanced between a number mediums and categories, applying under the mixed media category is the best choice.
You may create multiples of your own work as long as it meets the acceptance criteria.
Yes, One of a Kind reserves 150 for the Spring Show and 300 spaces in the Holiday Show for new artists each year. We also have an Emerging Section specifically for artists new to exhibiting their work.
If you are on the waitlist, you will be notified as soon as a booth becomes available. This could be as late as one month prior to the show.
Upon acceptance, you are provided a Booth Request Form. Please note, the team tries to meet all requests but space and availability limitations provide challenges. We will work with you to find a space that meets the needs of all.
Yes, the Emerging Artist Market which offers 5 x 10 spaces at half the price of a regular booth . The designated spaces will be dedicated to talented up and coming artists, designers and makers who meet the specific criteria.
