Chicago born and based fiber artist, Sandy Sadler, has been creating unique 3-D art and paper weavings for decades. With a BFA in art and an emphasis in fiber arts, her evolution into paper weaving began with 3-D objects and sculpture inspired by traditional basket weaving. Current paper and collage weavings are created from her original photographs with a focus on color and pattern, movement, optical illusions, and sometimes specific imagery.
