Ellen Frisbie of Q and A Photography is a Chicago-based portrait artist. Working with adults and children alike, she creates an atmosphere where natural connections and expressions can emerge. Using classical lighting and rich dark backgrounds, she lets subtle gestures and quiet moments shape each portrait. A friend once sent her an old photograph with a note: ​“Do you realize you’ve been photographing hugs for 15 years?” Ellen hadn’t noticed. She simply follows the moments people offer.
