Body and dance moves paintings
I am a French artist who recently moved to Chicago. Originally from Paris, I’ve studied art from a young age, before specializing in architecture. Then I worked for 14 years as an interior designer while continuing to paint on the side. Since my arrival in the United States, I have devoted myself full time to my personal works.
My paintings are inspired by my passion for dance and I’m trying to translate the poetry of it. I’m exploring the movement, the femininity and the human body, its energy and strength. I seek to capture the energy of movement while retaining the spontaneity and gentleness of the gesture, same for light and shadows, either in black and white or full of colors.
