Hannah lives in Chicago, IL and works out of her bedroom studio as a full time artist.
She paints on cardboard using acrylics and graphite to create story-like figurative paintings that embrace themes of familiarity, comfort, and nostalgia. Her work explores efforts towards self-connection through an intimate investigation of the human experience.
Hannah is motivated by ordinary people living ordinary lives, seeking inspiration from daily life and found vintage photos. She gravitates most towards moments that she finds captures the simplicity of the human experience at it’s core.
She grew up in Elmhurst, IL and studied Fine Art at Colorado State University before transferring to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2024.
Hannah started painting on cardboard in 2023 as a way to combat an intense wave of artist block during her final year of undergrad. After enjoying the materialistic properties, she has since adopted it into her daily practice.
