Elizabeth Karlson is a multidisciplinary, internationally collected artist. Elizabeth creates artwork in various media, her current passions are painting, woodworking, and murals. Elizabeth has worked with art consultants and designers to create artwork for various spaces including hospitals, hotels and homes. Elizabeth sells her original artwork and also offers fine art prints, licensing and commissions. Artist statement: With the chaos that surrounds our everyday lives, I like to hope that my artwork provides an escape, if only for a moment. Deeply influenced by nature and emotions, my paintings are full of color, texture and a calming energy. A release of my own personal thoughts and inspirations, each piece is completely unique. Colorful, moody, calm, or vibrant, the colors of each painting interact to create an ethereal scene. Her woodworking projects are inspired by nature, creating intricate florals and landscapes. Made using a scroll saw, each piece is then carved to bring the work to life. The combination of carving and painting makes each piece alive and unique. Elizabeth has added mural work to her portfolio. From smaller spaces like nurseries and homes, to large scale spaces like business walls to building exteriors.
