DoviArt Fashion is a visionary brand founded by Lithuanian-born designer Dovilė Riebschlager, celebrated for transforming scientific concepts, emotional narratives, and tactile experimentation into avant-garde, wearable art. Each collection blends textile innovation with sculptural design, offering one-of-a-kind pieces that challenge convention and celebrate individuality. Based in Chicago, DoviArt Fashion serves art-driven clients through bespoke garments, curated exhibitions, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Dovilė’s journey into fashion began at age 13, when she first asked her mother to teach her how to use a sewing machine. Years later, a small project — designing a stage costume for a prima ballerina — evolved into outfitting an entire troupe, solidifying her passion for fashion as a way to create beautiful vessels for the body to live, move, and celebrate life. With degrees in textile chemical engineering and textile as fine art, she developed a unique, science-informed approach to design that has earned her features at New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, Miami Swim, Honolulu Swim and Erlendur Fashion Week Iceland, along with national and international publications.
Her deep understanding of the industry’s environmental toll inspired her to advocate for a new, conscious approach to fashion. In response, she authored Luxury of the New Era: A New Vision of the Fashion World, a book published last year that reimagines sustainability, luxury, and responsibility in the modern fashion landscape.
