We make our chili oil in micro batches. The name originates from our business starting up in Chicago (CHI-TOWN!) and in honor of Grandpa Lee immigrating from South Korea to Chicago to find a better life for his family; and now seeking better flavor!
Our blend of spices reflects the traditional Chinese chili oil but has a broader range of applications not just for the Chinese palette. The moment you open the jar, the aromatics will fill your senses like no other chili oil out there. No sugar added! The sweetness comes from the caramelized shallots.
