Blue Fern Ceramics is a woman owned small business, established at the end of 2021 by me, Mine Anil, in Arlington Heights, IL.
I’m a Turkish born, self taught ceramic artist. My background is in biology, I always see living things and nature as an inspiration. I focus on producing small batch, functional and beautiful, made to last pieces. I create all my ceramics in my home studio and fire my pieces in my small kiln that allows me to fire 15 – 20 small pieces at once. I source my raw materials responsibly and I make sure that my production process minimizes environmental impact.
