Whitney Winkler is a watercolor, acrylic, and ink mixed media artist living in Memphis, Tennessee. She creates both fine art and functional art for life and home. A decade ago, with a toddler on her hip and baby #2 on the way, Whitney began painting. What started as a creative outlet within the margins of the busy days of motherhood, soon grew into a full time art business.
Whitney’s striking floral paintings as well as her motto “to put art on everything” lead to the creation of a fabric and wallpaper line in addition to her large print collection of states, cities, anatomy, motherhood, bouquets and more. After popping up at markets across the South and releasing fine & functional collections on her website, Whitney decided to open a brick and mortar store. Whitney Winkler Art Studio & Shop opened its doors in August 2021 in the Broad Avenue Arts District of Memphis. Whitney sells functional art that she co-creates with her team, vintage finds curated with you in mind, as well as handmade items created by other female small business owners, making it the perfect place to shop for thoughtful gifts.
