Chicago based painter, Victoria Slone, has been honing her skills in abstract watercolor painting for the past several years. Originally a jewelry designer that attemded the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Victoria blended her painting skills with her years of design experience, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions. <br> <br> Victoria's evolution into painting allowed her to use both organic shapes and fluid forms to serve as references to living organisms as well as states of matter. These patterns cohabitate in harmony, often superimposed upon the other, to create a reverie of unpredictable movement and transparent effects. <br> <br> The artist brings an extensive mastery of color theory, innate sense of rhythm, and compositional elements to each painting.
