I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember and have always been inspired to make life better through creativity. My work begins by photographing a flower that captures my attention, then carefully transferring the image onto high-quality watercolor paper. Using professional watercolor paints, I build each piece through layers of transparent color, a technique known as glazing, allowing depth, light, and vibrancy to gradually emerge.

In a world that can feel unsettled, I hope my art brings a sense of peace, hope, and quiet joy. My paintings are meant to be felt as much as seen — offering comfort, connection, and a gentle reminder of beauty. Each piece carries a silent prayer for peace, hope, safety, and joy.

After earning a BFA from Northern Illinois University, I eventually returned to my passion for painting. I now live in southern Wisconsin with my husband, close to our daughters and grandsons.
