The Urban Art Studio makes earth conscious framed fiber artworks right here in the Midwest. Formerly an elementary art teacher, Catherine decided to go for her dream of being a full-time artist in 2020. Her work is inspired by the rich colors of nature, and she uses responsibly soured, recycled, vintage, and reclaimed materials to create her weavings. Resulting in each artwork being truly one of a kind; adding a pop of color, texture, and a piece of the past to your space.
