Organic forms shaped by geometry
San Francisco, California
I am trained as an architect and metalsmith based in California, creating contemporary jewelry that bridges architecture and nature. My background in architecture strongly influences my approach.
I think in terms of structure, proportion, and spatial relationships, even at the scale of the body.
All of my work is handmade using traditional and experimental metalsmithing techniques. I fabricate each piece individually, allowing the process to shape the final form.
I am drawn to the tension between clean geometric lines and more organic, imperfect forms, often exploring texture and surface to create depth and individuality. My work emphasizes balance and spatial relationships, resulting in jewelry that feels both structured and organic.
