Oba-Gami Origami House

Saya was raised in a family steeped in historic Japanese culture, surrounded by traditional folk art, dance and music in a beautiful natural island environment. Origami was a natural part of her childhood.



Saya selects Origami figures, paper colors and patterns that symbolize Japanese history and ethnology and creates unique origami artwork with an Asian philosophy based on comparative folkloristics which she studied in Japan.
