Sculptural lightweight contemporary cable jewelry
Meghan Patrice Riley creates sculptural, lightweight jewelry inspired by geometry, architecture and the structural beauty of bridge cabling. Handcrafted in Brooklyn, her work transforms flexible nylon-coated stainless steel cable into dimensional necklaces and earrings accented with sterling silver, 14k gold fill, pearls and semi-precious stones. Designed to move with the body, the pieces are exceptionally lightweight, hypoallergenic and travel-friendly. Riley’s work has been carried by museum shops including SFMOMA, the Guggenheim Museum, Seattle Art Museum and the Museum of Arts and Design.
