Matthew learned to appreciate art glass at an early age. The son of a military officer, he grew up traveling the world and visiting museums, galleries and churches with gorgeous works of glass art. By the time he was 12, his family had lived on 2 continents, and the Hawaiian Islands. His first career was in healthcare administration, but after almost 20 years, he gave up the boardroom for an art studio. He first learned the art of stained glass by a leader in the industry. Matthew knew he had found his vocation. Being a service oriented individual, it was natural for him to pursue his passion in the glass industry. In 2015, he had the opportunity to purchase a 30+ year old business selling fusible and dichroic glass in Seguin, TX. That's where he begin creating the beautiful functional Me2U glassware.
