One-of-a-kind bronze constructions are welded, forged, machined and oxidized (colored) with hot process patinas. 9x9 Bronze Still Life wall tiles incorporate antique beads. Framed Bronze Panels are a natural extension of my effort to use patina coloration in a painterly way.
My process has evolved in a 40 year dialogue with our materials, and I have learned when to impose my will and when to listen. I want my pieces to look made and to retain evidence of our hand and thought.
