I'm Kate, the designer and artist behind Kate Winternitz Jewelry. Every piece is handcrafted by myself and a very small team. A background in art history and studio art is reflected in my process and style. Over the years I've honed my skills and developed my style, enhancing my composition and craftsmanship. My jewelry signature balances detail with simplicity – always special, always wearable. My creative practice incorporates fine arts and crafts, including textiles, surface design, and metalwork. What I explore on a larger scale inspires my jewelry. I'm inspired by the finest details in the world around me - from fabric embellishments to patterns in nature. Trained in both jewelry and textiles, the blend of both is realized in my designs. Elevating minimal and modern design with feminine touches is my signature.
