It's the Fuzz

Liz graduated with a Fine Arts degree from WSU in Detroit Michigan in 2004. She found fiber art a few years later flipping through a book on art dolls. She came across an image that truly surprised her\: needle felted bears and mice. She had never seen anything like it, and it spoke to her. Being an only child Liz often built a world around herself with toys. Needle felting was an avenue to bring all of those imagined friends to life. Her wool sculptures are denizens of an alternative mindscape of the absurd — cute and quirky pieces that reimagine our own lives in playful, hilarious ways.
