Before launching Heidi Hess Designs, Heidi spent years in radio and music direction in New York, Chicago, and Miami. Then came a hand-knit shawl made by her mother. When Heidi wore it to the Grammy Awards, it caught Janet Jackson’s eye, and Heidi realized that clothing, like music, can make people feel something.
Today, Heidi Hess Designs is an independent, woman-founded collection of American-made clothing, produced in limited runs with select textiles developed in-house. Its signature Hoodie Ponch® is effortless, versatile, a little unexpected, and unmistakably comfortable.
