My name is Janice Jones, and I create my Weird and Wonderful illustrations from my home in Chicago. All my work comes directly from my imagination - start to finish. Usually working in my studio, I concentrate on the lines and small shapes my ballpoint pen creates, then my whimsical mind takes over, exploring what I see beginning to come forth - and go from there. It's how my imagination works best. I give each of my characters a name, and they become more personal from that point onward - almost like family with all their interesting peculiarities!
