Handmade and unique fine jewelry
Dora Winchester Jewelry opened in 1991. Her work is influenced by ancient and antique jewelry, and she works primarily in 18K yellow gold. She enjoys keeping her business a one person affair because of the freedom it affords. She participates in a number of art shows every year and works by appointment from her home studio. Her work was displayed in Chicago Collects: Jewelry in Perspective at the Driehaus Museum in 2024.
Dora fabricates each piece of jewelry individually using age-old techniques. She draws inspiration from nature, stones she works with, and from within.
