Anne Waddell Jewelry
Handmade silver & gold gemstone jewelry
Anne Waddell Toohey has always been an artist. From her early days beading and wire-wrapping friendship bracelets to exploring her creativity through painting, art has been a constant in her life. Even in high school, she was recognized for her passion, earning the title of “Most Likely to Become an Artist.”
She discovered her true calling in jewelry design during her first casting class as a freshman at the University of Kansas. The moment she realized jewelry-making involved fire and torches, her creative world expanded. She spent every spare moment in the studio, transforming metal into wearable art. In the 2000s, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design.
After college, Anne built a successful career in luxury jewelry sales, working at Nordstrom and David Yurman, mastering the art of customer experience. While growing her career and family, she continued creating jewelry in her parents’ garage — like many great brands, it all started in a small, temporary studio.
By 2018, Anne was ready to take the leap. After years of selling top jewelry brands, she knew it was time to launch her own. With the support of her sister, she founded Anne Waddell Jewelry, a brand designed to amplify artistry and connect with customers through meaningful, handcrafted pieces. She finds inspiration everywhere — from life’s highs and lows to the people she loves and the organic, imperfect beauty of nature.
Anne’s collections feature sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious gemstones, intention, and love. Her favorite part of the design process? Creating jewelry that tells a story and reflects each wearer’s unique style.
Since launching her brand, Anne has:
• Partnered with the Minnesota Vikings
• Styled host Amanda Brinkman on the Daytime Emmy-nominated Season 5 of Small Business Revolution with Ty Pennington
• Outgrown her home studio and expanded into a new space in Deephaven
Anne Waddell Jewelry continues to evolve, celebrating craftsmanship, storytelling, and the personal connections we make through art.
