Abokichi is a Japan inspired food brand based in Canada. Abokichi's OKAZU is a chili oil which received the 2020 sofy award and featured in NY times in 2021. Abokichi Instant Miso Soup is the only hot fermented beverage in the market made with the byproduct of sake brewing (Upcycled). We also launched a wheat free ramen meal kit (Upcycled) in 2021. Abokichi sets upcycling as a core pillar of the company's product development to reduce food waste. As a results, Abokichi has received official Upcycled Certification from the Upcycled Food Association in the summer of 2022. Abokichi leads the Asian aisle by innovation in Canada.
