From her Atlanta, Ga studio Sophia hand throws or slip casts each piece of porcelain clay to create functional pottery for everyday luxury. No two pieces are exactly alike, and thats the point. Sophias philosophy is to use the good stuff everyday. She wants her customers to love her pieces and use them daily, even if theyre tempted to save them for special occasions. Whether putting fresh wildflowers in a Dew vase or drinking that first sip of coffee from a Drops Of Honey mug, both collections were created to invoke Apricity: the feeling of warmth on a winters day.
