Anne F Hanley Artist and Painter. Anne has been producing and selling her art for over 20 years, traveling to more than 300 shows across the country and winning multiple awards. She continues to develop her process of Batik using hot wax and watercolor on paper, and has recently introduced acrylic, gesso and charcoal. This change of mediums has led to a creative series of vibrant new works. As a response to the beginning of the pandemic, and keeping her shows to a minimum, Anne was able to develop these new works, giving her time to experiment with different ideas and papers. Meeting the challenges of COVID-19 Anne sold her work virtually in 2020. The idea of virtual shows was an innovative way by many show promoters to get the work to the public. Anne's wholesale site IndieMe, since 2009, became a great platform to show and sell giclees, reproductions, as well as new works and generate more clients. Recently, Anne attended ADC and Blink Fine Art, Call to Artist Show in Cincinnati winning an award for Best Abstract. In February Anne won an Award of Excellence at Naples National Art Fair, she will be returning in 2022.
