Artist’s work, booth design and application information will be juried based on quality, authenticity, uniqueness, salability, booth presentation and overall balance of show categories.

Acceptance Criteria

• You must be the original artist/designer/creator/purveyor of your work
• You have a complete understanding of the creation & craft process needed to make your work
• You are intimately involved in the design, creation & production process from start to finish
• Limited assistants/apprentices are permitted as long as the original artist is involved in the production process stated above
• Work displayed may only be in the media category in which participant was accepted
• For fine artists: Limited edition prints will be permitted, but shouldn’t make up more than 10% of total offerings
• For photographers only: Original photography vs. prints should make up most of the artist’s booth
• Booth sharing is not permitted unless presenting work is a collaborative collection
• Mass-produced work is not eligible for participation

Production Process:

• Manufactures and technological tools that aid in the production of your item must be disclosed in your application
• Artist can employee limited assistance/apprentices but, they (the artist) need(s) to be onsite and involved during production.
• AI (Artificial Intelligence) usage as a production tool is not permitted

If the deadline has passed, the website will post the most updated information about available space. In the past couple of years, the show has filled up by the jury deadline and a healthy waitlist is created during the selection process. However, if we have availability in certain categories it will be posted on the website. Also, feel free to email Marie Gerbasi if you are unsure and/or want to be put on our email list for deadline reminders.

It is recommended that you set one up in a clean, open space and photograph a booth set up. If this is not possible, you may submit a computerized layout of your display or a sketch of your display. Keep in mind that presentation is an important factor in the jury selection.

If you create work in other categories, it is recommended that you apply in the category that makes up the greatest amount of your work. If your work is balanced between a number mediums and categories, applying under the mixed media category is the best choice.

You may create multiples of your own work as long as it meets the acceptance criteria.

If you are on the waitlist, you will be notified as soon as a booth becomes available. This could be as late as one month prior to the show.

Yes, One of a Kind reserves around 250 spaces in the Holiday Show for new artists each year. We also have an Emerging Section specifically for artists new to exhibiting their work.

Upon acceptance, you are provided a Booth Request Form. Please note, the team works hard to meet all requests but space and availability limitations provide challenges. We will work with you to find a space that meets the needs of all.

Yes, the Emerging Artist Market which offers 5 x 10 spaces at half the price of a regular booth. The designated spaces will be dedicated to talented up and coming artists, designers and makers who meet the specific criteria.
