Torres Ceramics
Beautiful handcrafted functional pottery
Emily Torres is a Mexican American ceramic artist and pottery instructor creating handmade functional and decorative ceramics designed for everyday use, and meant to be cherished for generations. Each piece is hand-thrown, hand-carved, and one of a kind, and made with high-fire clay.
After graduating college, Emily launched her ceramic business in 2025, turning her passion for clay into a growing practice. Her heritage influences her work, while her process explores the relationship between movement, material, and emotion. To Emily, clay is alive, it mimics every movement and holds an almost empathetic quality, reflecting the energy and intention of the hands that shape it.
