Lilium Artisans is the creative outlet for Susan Straus, a Wisconsin artist who works in clay, wool and glass. Susan’s primary passion is creating functional yet beautiful ceramic pieces that are unique and utilitarian.
Susan works from a home studio north of Milwaukee and is always looking for new ways to express her art through clay, glaze, texture and pattern. A high school ceramics class and lifelong sense of creativity started her journey towards full time artist decades ago. The path has ebbed and flowed but Susan is thrilled to be a fulltime artist pursuing her passions to put art into the world and is excited to be participating in the One of a Kind Show.
