Hulda Design features original hand made crochet handbags. Designer and creator, Sara Pickus, has always had a passion for learning a new creative skill. Crocheting handbags blossomed after making a summer bag for herself and, after initial responses from family and friends, this seed of an idea has grown.
The development and variety of handbags Sara makes has been a fun and surprising journey. Her ideas and designs start with a concept for a purpose and interesting color pattern. Each bag is made one at a time. As the creative process for each one unfolds, there is a huge sense of satisfaction for the finished product.
Along with several years in graphic art, Sara has always been a self-professed lover of hand crafted wares. She lives in the Chicagoland area and has three adult children with her husband.
