Get to Know... Natalie Sularski of Owesley Blanket Boutique

With a love of all things soft and comforting, Natalie Sularski (above with her son) specializes in one of a kind baby and children's gifts and goods. 

One of a KInd:  Describe your work.

Natalie:  All of our items are meticulously handmade with fun, colorful and soft fabrics.  We focus on using the highest quality, machine washable fabrics with artistic designs.

One of a Kind: What are you bringing to the Spring Show?

Natalie:  Our blankets, bibs, burp cloth sets and teething rings, as well as our entire organic line.  We have a full line of new prints and color combinations and also a few new items like tag-along lovies and nursery décor. 

One of a Kind:  How did you get started?

Natalie:  While pregnant with my second son, I started making blankets for my pregnant friends.  It was something I have always loved doing and had not had time for--in what seemed like ages!  I threw myself into my craft and before I knew it I had more blankets than friends with babies!

One of a Kind:  If you weren't an artist, what would you be?

Natalie:  It is very hard to imagine my life in an uncreative way.  If I didn't have my own shop, I feel like I would still be doing something creative in some way.  Looking back it makes perfect sense that I am where I am.  I am forever grateful that I get to raise my boys while doing something that I absolutely love.

One of a Kind:  What makes you happy?

Natalie:  So many things!  Waking up every morning knowing I get to do something I really enjoy as a career.  Watching my kids grow and learn the value of hard work first hand.  Seeing and hearing from happy customers and knowing my goods are loved and adored!
