Painting art became a hobby for me when my children got older and started needing me less. This new found freedom enabled me to take a couple of local art classes and from there my love of painting began. My first ever commission was a pet portrait for a friend who took a chance on me which, in turn, grew by word of mouth. Along the way, experimenting with abstract art became my primary focus and I have been growing my business ever since.

My work includes oil paintings of contemporary landscapes, abstracts and pet portraits. Inspiration stems from summers spent in Saugatuck, Michigan on the lake and beach vacations abroad with family.

I am currently a member of Arts Dupage, Dupage Art League and Naperville Art League.
