Handmade copper enamel jewelry
Hi, my name is Linda Winther and I am the one woman operation behind SIFT and Winnow (formerly Steinvika Designs). I have 2 children, Espen 18 and Zephyr 14. Through my jewelry I have created a direct link between my customer and my table. It brings me great joy to engage in this connection with each and every one of you. Thank you.

The pleasure of art is that it can make a statement without using a single word. Such is the meaning behind my work. SIFT and Winnow jewelry joins my Scandinavian heritage and my less is more mindset. By employing color and shape I create timeless pieces that complement any age or Style.
Copper enameling is glass fused to Copper at high heat. Vitreous enamels are finely ground glass, like fine sand. I sift the glass onto the copper and carefully fire in my kiln. Each of my pieces is made by hand, one at a time in my home studio.
