The Bernese Builder

It was a typical day in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago. Eorlund Battle-Puppy Dynamite was sitting around the house thinking about ways to get more toys, bones and treats. His friend Koa came by to chit chat and mentioned that she was in the market for a new bed. It's so hard to find beautiful handmade wood furniture for dogs that don't cost a paw and leg she said. At that moment, Eorlund had a brilliant idea. Using his basement workshop and a whole assortment tools, he would build a business. That Business would become The Bernese Builder, and soon, Eorlund would have all the bones he could dream of. Our goal...it's the usual goal. Shared by pretty much every dog to ever start a furniture design and woodworking company. We want to build awesome furniture that blows our customers minds. We want to build furniture made by hand, out of great materials for people who aren't flying to space anytime soon. We want to be a part of our community, we want to help our community, and we want to build a community. A community of ethical, earth conscience, sustainable businesses that we work with. We want to make top notch design and craftsmanship fun and even whimsical as opposed to uptight and boring. We are dog owned after all.
