PigMint offers hand-dyed, wearable, products for infants, toddlers, big kids and adults, as well as a bespoke selection of home goods. Each item is dyed meticulously by hand with fiber reactive dyes and an ice-dyeing process that takes a full 24 hours to complete. This creates beautiful patterns and color variations that won’t bleed or wash out. The PigMint booth will be well-stocked with lots of cold weather apparel and home-goods that make unique and personal gifts.

I am Rachel, the owner and designer behind PigMint. I live in the Chicago suburbs with my husband, Ben, our 4 kids and our overly happy dog, Hank. I love fonts, yarn, summer nights, travel, Barre3 and rom-coms.

I spent my career as a graphic designer — designing everything from logos and branding to invitations and more. Then in late 2019 I stumbled upon this, taking blank, white clothes and making them come alive with color. By January 2020 this shop was up and running. I still make everything by hand, and put as much care into my last piece as I did my first.
