A very Midwestern still life. Classic beers, being recycled as vessels for some midwest wildflowers. Queen Anne’s lace, purple coneflower, wild roses and rose hips, cosmos, and pink milkweed. I like to do my research when I paint, and made sure to be specific with my flower choices to reflect what we actually see growing in local gardens around town.
