Painting, New to One of a Kind, Woman-Owned
Lana Vosk
Original abstract acrylic paintings and reproductions
Growing up behind the Iron Curtain, I found sanctuary from boring propaganda in the logic of mathematics, geometry, and drafting. My childhood was defined by a fascination with brainteasers, puzzles, the Rubik’s Cube, and the constant act of drawing.
While I studied computer science in my youth and later pursued medicine after immigrating to the West, my path eventually led me back to my first love. Today, I have fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a professional artist.
My abstract paintings are influenced by my lifelong work with textiles. I approach the canvas with the tactile sensibility of a fiber artist, bridging the gap between the softness of fibers and the bold precision of paint. My work is the culmination of a journey across borders and disciplines — unified by a love for structure and color, and a life dedicated to the creative spirit.
