For Melissa Carter, great style has no borders. As the founder and Creative Director of Kameo Vintage, Melissa has built her brand around a love of the unexpected: the rare find, the perfect preloved piece, and the thrill of discovering what’s next in style.
Her eye for fashion takes her around the world, sourcing and discovering inspiration from the streets, boutiques, markets, and fashion communities of Paris, Montreal, New York, and beyond. Every trip becomes part of the Kameo story, bringing a global point of view back to her clients and collections.
Melissa’s creative work has led to collaborations and projects with an exciting mix of local and national names, including the WNBA, Savage Fenty, South Loop Loft, The Vault Creative, K Solo Vintage, Lauren Collander Interiors, and legendary Sex and the City costume designer and fashion icon Patricia Field NYC.
Her approach to style is equal parts instinct, storytelling, and discovery. She believes the best wardrobes aren’t simply shopped; they’re curated. Vintage meets modern. Luxury meets the unexpected.
