Rooibos is rich in antioxidants, is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so it has no bitterness). Red Rooibos leaves are crushed, allowed to undergo natural oxidation/fermentation, then dried. They have a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness. Our Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are organic, Kosher, Halaal, Non-GMO and fairtrade. Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Rooibos or red Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves that are unfermented and are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation/fermentation.
