Fashion ReWork creates one-of-a-kind wearable art from post-consumer textiles collected from around the world — transforming forgotten fabrics into expressive garments that merge nostalgia, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Founder and designer Haley Byrd-Locey — a former Hollywood costumer and stylist turned textile archaeologist — hand-selects vintage quilts, tapestries, denim, and rare prints, reworking them into modern silhouettes that feel both artful and effortless.

Each piece is individually cut, sewn, and finished by hand in Michigan, preserving the texture and history of its original material while ensuring comfort and versatility through unisex, gender-fluid design. Fashion ReWork’s signature pieces — including tapestry coats and hoodies, quilt coats and zip-up bombers, and checkered mix-print skirts — invite wearers to express their individuality through craftsmanship and character. No two pieces are ever alike, making exclusivity and self-expression the hallmark of the brand.

Seen in the upcoming documentary Threads of Change and featured as a speaker at the UNESCO’S Design Month and Detroit Fiber Festival, Haley invites you to find the piece that tells your story — a one-of-a-kind creation that nobody else in the world will have.
