Cooper James Co is a woman-owned candle company founded by Jillian Myers, a pediatric nurse practitioner and mother of two. Hand poured in small batches in Chicago, each candle combines coconut-apricot wax with clean fragrance oils and scents inspired by the city, the seasons, and the comforts of home.
Named for her sons, Nolan James and Owen Cooper, the brand carries a deeply personal story. Owen survived a premature birth and more than 100 days in the NICU after the loss of his twin brother. The butterfly on each candle honors that journey, symbolizing love, remembrance, and hope.
