Common Skies
Joy. Color. Authenticity. Escape.
Hi, I’m Ren. I used to work in tech. Now I travel, take photos, and design streetwear.
Common Skies began during the pandemic with a selfish goal. I just wanted to find the softest shirt ever, and put a photo on it of someplace I’d rather be. Because if I couldn’t go out into the world, I wanted to bring a piece of it to me.
Soon, people took notice, and the tees became something else: a souvenir from places people wanted to go. And a reminder that – no matter where in the world – joy, pain, and the desire to live authentically are universal.
These days, our collection is largely made with deadstock or 100% recycled cotton, because I think people should have nice things and also be good to the earth. We also screen print by hand with water-based ink, creating slight variations that make each piece unique – like you.
