I love the way night transforms the urban environment. In this series of paintings my goal is to capture the unique mood and atmosphere created by night in the city of Chicago. I pick venues that attract this sensibility whether a well known theater or a little corner joint. With a background in traditional painting, I have adopted new technology and paint these images digitally on an iPad from sketch to final image. I offer these as prints-on-paper, metal prints, canvases, coasters and mounted on wood.
