A Couple Two Tree Sauces is a Chicago-based boutique sauce company that specializes in fusing iconic flavors with classic condiments. Our products pay tribute to the greatest city in the world, celebrating its innovative spirit and vibrant heritage. Born from our love for Chicago and its cuisine, we believe that every meal is an opportunity to share joy and connection. With each jar, we invite you to savor the deliciousness of Chicago, because we believe that food is life, and life is best enjoyed together.
What should you know about us and our products?
Giardonnaise® harnesses the essence of Midwestern sensibilities and the spice of Chicago’s staple into one transcendent bottle. Instead of mixing in giardiniera with store-bought mayo, we make our sauce from scratch, infusing every ingredient with our proprietary blend of giardiniera.

Living in Chicago, we grew up with the flavors we represent. We bootstrapped this company, hand-delivering our products, testing each batch, and manufacturing locally. We don’t rely on venture capital; our commitment is to the community, not a distant corporate office. Our passion for Chicago’s culinary heritage drives us to create sauces that bring people together and celebrate the rich flavors of our city. As co-founders, we have deep roots in the community we serve, with Addison literally named after the iconic street! GO CUBBIES! We take pride in crafting our products in small batches right here in Chicago, ensuring that each bottle meets the highest quality standards.
What are the pairing suggestions and uses?
Giardonnaise® is greater than the sum of its parts, making it perfect as a dip, spread, dressing, or marinade.
Dip: fried foods, veggies, potatoes, fries, tots, chips, fish & chips, shrimp, vegetables, pickles, green tomatoes, tenders, corn dogs, chicken fried steak, chops, regular steak, cheese curds, samosas, empanadas, garlic knots, you get the picture.
Spread: sandwiches, meatball, patty melt, Reuben, sloppy joe, burgers, club, BLT, Italian, turkey, roast beef, build your own, Italian beef, lobster roll, shrimp po’ boy, Cuban, gyro, jibarito, sausage, brat, literally any smoked meat, every grilled meat, I’m sure you can think of something else.
Dressing: salads, coleslaw, elotes, potato, pasta, egg, chicken, tuna, crab, ham salad — trust us on this last one.
Marinade: proteins, grilled, baked, air fried, ceviche.
