Emily Cline is a 36 year old ceramic artist, educator, and founder of Daphnia Ceramics, living and creating in Columbus, OH. She is known for her functional ceramic work that combines hand drawn screen printed patterns with clay, using a fusion of techniques that make her trademark style. A lover of the woods, hiking, and foraging, Emily uses many patterns inspired by the local flora and fauna of the woods in the midwest. Morel mushrooms, ferns, chicory flowers, moon phases, finches, and snails are a few of the many illustrations that adorn her mugs, bowls and plates.
