This Quiet Dust is a ceramic studio established by Dubhe Carreño in the suburbs of Chicago which focuses in creating simple yet elegant handmade porcelain tableware inspired by simplicity and aiming to bring beauty to the everyday. Forms are inspired by a minimalist aesthetic and by the colors and textures inherent in nature. Dubhe received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and her MFA from School of the Art Institute. She currently teaches ceramics at Northeastern Illinois University
