Sue Burns of Baabaazuzu started her craft 23 years ago due to a laundry error, which reduced Sue's beloved sweaters to a pile of carnage. What would have brought most to tears,set off a lightbulb in Sue's mind. Blending her graphic design with her sewing skills, Sue refashioned the sweaters into new wearables and launched the brand Baabaazuzu. The brand has grown to include hats, mittens, scarves, bags and more for women and men, all made from reclaimed woolens. Baabaazuzu is notable for high quality, design and function. The past 20+ years have been a whirlwind of growth, excitement, challenges and brilliant ideas that have tested my patience, as well as rewarded my efforts. I am grateful for the learning curves that are part of my journey as an artist and entrepreneur. My mission is to repurpose discarded wool garments into artful design and function, at a high standard of quality, that continues to resonate with my loyal and discerning buyer.
